Direction for Use and Precautions

Wear the pendant with the side of black agate close to the skin. Maximize the healing effect by placeing it close to the body area with discomforts.
Daily Cleaning: Gently wipe the pendant surface with a cotton cloth or tissue to remove grease and dirt.
Sterling silver will oxidize and discolour or even turn black if it is frequently exposed to sulfide in air, sweat, and perfume, etc. but don't worry, this is a natural phenomenon and can be cleaned by following the steps below:

Mild oxidation – Necklace becomes yellowish in colour

- Use a small amount of toothpaste or white vinegar diluted with water to clean the necklace. You can also use a toothbrush to gently scrub the necklace’s crevices. Wipe the surface of the necklace gently with a silver polishing cloth to help restore the luster of the necklace.

Severe condition – Necklace has blackened in colour (vulcanized)

- Soak the necklace (chain only) in silver wash for 5 to 10 seconds. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Then, wipe the surface with a silver polishing cloth. If discolouration persists, repeat the cleaning process to restore the luster of the necklace.

Cleaning method for the pendant

- Wipe the surface of the pendant with a silver polishing cloth to restore its luster.

- Use a silver polishing rod*: use the polishing side first to clean blackened areas of the pendant, then use the buffing side to restore its luster.

*Note: The silver polishing rod should not be used frequently as it can damage the necklace. Do not soak the pendant in silver wash as this can affect the quality of the black agate and pendant.
